Challenges and Learnings
The primary challenge was designing a flexible role-based permission system that could accommodate diverse institutional hierarchies while remaining secure and maintainable. We implemented strict route-based permission enforcement with custom role extensibility, allowing institutions to define roles aligned with their specific organizational structure.
Another key learning was efficiently tracking the multi-dimensional student journey—combining academic marks, technical skill progression, task completion, and placement metrics in a cohesive system. We optimized the data model to minimize query complexity while maintaining comprehensive reporting capabilities.
